I want JustSvara to be a space everyone can use and enjoy. I’m committed to making this website as accessible as possible for all visitors, including people with disabilities.

Our Standards

JustSvara aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level. These guidelines help make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.

What We’re Doing

We take the following steps to ensure accessibility on justsvara.com:

Images and media: We use descriptive alt text on images so that screen readers can convey the content to visually impaired visitors. Where images are purely decorative, they are marked accordingly.

Navigation: The site is structured with clear headings, logical reading order, and consistent navigation to support keyboard-only users and assistive technologies.

Color and contrast: We aim to maintain sufficient color contrast ratios between text and background elements to ensure readability for visitors with low vision or color vision deficiencies.

Links: We use descriptive link text so that the purpose of each link is clear, even out of context.

Forms and checkout: Our WooCommerce store and contact forms are designed with proper labels and error messaging to support screen readers and assistive input devices.

Known Limitations

Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and I recognize that some areas of the site may not yet be fully accessible. In particular, some older content or third-party embedded elements (such as affiliate widgets or social media embeds) may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. I’m working to address these as I identify them.
