I love throwing dinner parties. And I love buying things in anticipations of said dinner parties. Which was how I came to own these beautiful hand-blown margarita glasses! But somehow I never made margaritas and forgot that I ever bought them.
That's the beauty of moving. It forces you to rediscover that the things you 'lost'. However, it seems everyone of my acquaintance hates margaritas so I decided to say screw it and used these glasses for smoothies! I like making being healthy fun! :)
This was a fun summer inspired smoothie I made using ingredients I had intended to make margaritas with. I added Chia seeds for some added nutritional benefits!

And now without further ado....the smoothie recipe!
1/2 cup Frozen Pinapple
1/2 cup Frozen Mango
3/4 cup Grapefruit Juice
2 tbs Chia Seeds
Stick everything in a blender and blend until smooth
